We also deliver metals in very small volumes - for every market.

Alloys - an industrial advantage

Constant availability and having not only a product but THE product you are looking for are clear advantages. The press operators, metal formers, tool makers or system suppliers of automobile manufacturers, the fashion industry or instrument makers have exact notions about the semi-finished products they require, as each processing machine is unique and each product has its special physical characteristics. The alloys should be soft and easy to draw or semi-hard to prevent buckling during processing. Alternatively they may be spring-tempered to ensure that locks will perform reliably and that a plug contact will retain its functional shape in the long term.

ILNOR is aware of the market requirements and the product-specific processes used as a result of many years of intensive cooperation with our customers. The metal band alloys required for your market can be custom-made, reproduced or delivered within a short time by our parent company.

We supply the European market with metal bands. We would be delighted to be of service to you.

brass band - material property

Description

G/K = grain size
F = hardness.
R = Rm tensile strength N/mm².
H = Hardness in H or HV
(Vickers hardness).
Rp0,2/S = Yield point in N/mm².
A = Elasticity limit / elasticity in %.
The number following the abbreviation refers to the size of the test sample to be measured.

Copper/zinc alloy brass band

Copper/zinc alloy brass band
CuZn 5/10/15/20/28/30/33/37

Soft: F23 - 30/R 230-300,

Semi-hard: F27 – 37/R 270-350

Hard: F34 - 44/R 340-410

Spring-tempered F41-54/R410-550
